How to Bathe Your Newborn - Babys First Hospital Bath

How to keep a baby safe in a bath tub (sold on Amazon only $16.99: 2,500 reviews, 4.5 stars!!!)\r
Never leave your baby unsupervised, even for a minute. If the doorbell or phone rings and you feel you must answer it, scoop him up in a towel and take him with you.\r
Never put your baby into a tub when the water is still running. (The water can quickly get too deep or hot.)\r
Set your water heater to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. A child can get third-degree burns in less than a minute at 140 degrees. (I ually set mine at 100 degrees and therefore had no worry of overly HOT water)\r
Never leave your child unattended. (Yes, its so important we listed it twice). A child can drown in less than an inch of water—and in less than 60 seconds.\r
Step by step: How to bathe your baby\r
\r
Gather all your bath supplies (including mild soap, a washcloth, and a plastic cup), and lay out a towel, a clean diaper, and clothes. Make sure the room is comfortably warm so your baby doesnt get chilled.\r
\r
Fill the tub with about 3 inches of water that feels warm, but not hot, to the inside of your wrist—about 90 degrees Fahrenheit (32 degrees Celsius) or a few degrees warmer.\r
\r
Bring your baby to the bath area and undress her completely. (TIP: If your baby cries through every bath, leave the diaper on at first. It can give her an increased sense of security in the water.)\r
\r
Gradually slip your baby into the tub feet first, using one hand to support her neck and head. Pour cupfuls of bath water over her regularly during the bath so she doesnt get too cold.\r
\r
Use mild soap and use it sparingly (too much dries out your babys skin). Wash her with your hand or a washcloth from top to bottom, front and back. Start by washing her scalp with a wet, soapy cloth. Rinse the soap from the cloth and use it to gently clean her eyes and face. If dried mucus has collected in the corners of your babys nostrils or eyes, dab it several times to soften it before you wipe it out. As for your babys genitals, a routine washing is all thats needed.\r
\r
Rinse your baby thoroughly with cupfuls of water, and wipe her with a clean washcloth. Then very carefully lift her out of the tub with one hand supporting her neck and head and the other hand supporting her bottom. Wrap your fingers around one thigh. (Babies are slippery when wet.) If its possible, have another adult help by receiving your baby in a dry towel.\r
\r
Wrap your baby in a hooded towel and pat her dry. If her skin is still peeling from birth, you can apply a mild baby lotion after her bath, but this is generally dead skin that needs to come off anyway, not dry skin. Then diaper her, dress her, and give her a kiss on her sweet-smelling head.\r
\r

This #yookidoo bathtub #toy for #babies and toddlers pumps water from the tub and sprinkled it out for fun in the tub! How do you wash a baby? Kyla shows us on this toy #VLOG from our #family #vlogs of toys. Our little #vlogger Kyla is a great teacher. Shampoo the babys head with tearless shampoo and rinse using a shower head or a container. We are using the yookidoo bath toy to rinse the babys head with warm water. Im currently a third year medical school student in my surgery rotation. In this vlog, I try to capture and film how my day is like as a med school student. In this particular day, the weather was bad and we had a snow day, so non-essential personnel like me (med school student) were not required to go in. MERMAID SQUISHY POOL CHALLENGE| FAN MAILS| SPRING BREAK VLOG 2 OF 3

First I want to thank my cousin Emily for making this video possible. She did most of the filming and it was MUCH HARDER than it looks. As fun as it was, it took us a good 3 days to make this video possible for you guys because we had to time it correctly, wait for the pool to have less people or wait until everyone is out of the pool. We had to do multiple takes on certain clips because it wasnt easy trying to swim, coordinate with the camera and squish a squishy all while in water!!! Its Spring Break 2017 and we have a nice hotel with a pool right next to a beautiful bay. Today, I will be swimming around the pool with my mermaid tail and squishing squishy underwater to see what it would be like. All of the squishies that I didnt not protect with extra bags got super defected. I put some inside bags because they were too expensive to defect. Travel Planet - Bodas Masái, Kenia (Kenya Masai's Wedding )

Africa, with its many nations and tribes, is very rich in different wedding traditions. An old African proverb says, "A man without a wife is like a vase without flowers."
The Ndebele people live in South Africa and Zimbabwe. Mother-in-law of the Ndebele bride makes her a "jocolo". The Jocolo is a five-paneled, beaded goatskin apron. During ceremonies this apron is worn by all married women.

The Shona people live in Zimbabwe and southern Mozambique. Dowry or "roora" is a regular part of their weddings. It is paid to the bride's family as a sign of respect. The bride decides when she will go to her groom. She can arrive at night with her female cousins escorting her. She arrives during the day when she wants to surprise her future husband. She then wears white from head to toe. It is believed that by doing so nobody can see her.

As soon as members of groom's family notice her they start dancing and ululating. The groom's family begins preparations for a party. It takes some time, so the bride is encouraged to keep walking through the village. People are very happy as her arrival and giving birth to babies is going to enlarge their community.

The procession ends when the mother-in-law escorts the bride to her new home. There the bride gets presents and is being pleaded to remove her veil. It is a sign for the party to begin. Such parties last all through the night.

The Yoruba people live in Nigeria and some other parts of Western Africa. Out of Africa Yoruba communities exist in Brazil, the USA, Jamaica, Haiti etc. One of the ceremonies held at the Yoruba weddings is tasting. In this ceremony the bride and groom taste for example peppercorns for bitterness, honey for happiness and dried fish for nourishment.

Polygamous marriages are common in the Wodabee nation of Niger. Marriages called „coogal“ are arranged by parents during couple's infancy. There are also marriages as result of love. Such marriages are called „teegal“.

Groom's family offers a price to the bride's family. If it is excepted the bride and groom are married. A bride lives with her husband until her pregnancy. Then she returns to her mother's home, where she will remain for the next three to four years.

With the birth of a baby the woman becomes a boofeydo or "someone who has made an error." Being a boofeydo means that she can not see or speak with her husband. The husband can not express any interest in her or the baby.

After two to three years, the woman will be able to visit her husband, but not live with him. Finally, when the woman's mother buys everything that is needed for bride's home, she and the baby return to the husband.
Between 1000 and 1500 Karo (Kara) people live on the east banks of the Omo River in south Ethiopia. To enhance the beauty of the Karo bride her abdomen is tattooed with different symbols. The Karo man can have as many wives as he can afford. Usually he has two or three wives.

Thanks for this awesome transfer!!

Its Sunday Funday, and we cook up a classic Southern breakfast. We also try some exotic fruit from the grocery store that we picked out! We try, dragon fruit, cus pear, and star fruit! Our favorite was the dragon fruit. It tasted a lot like a Kiwi Fruit. The star fruit didnt have much flavor. The cus Pear looked really yummy, but the seeds inside were really hard even though they are supposed to be edible.\r

How to SAFELY Degrease Your Engine Bay

In the second part of Project Restoration, I use Meguiars Super Degreaser along with some paint brushes to detail the engine bay of the Golf. I remove all of the grease under the engine bay and show you exly how I do it. \r

DISCLAIMER: If you want to do this to your car and you have a Cold Air Intake or a Short Ram Intake, cover the intake in a plastic grocery bag to protect the internals of the engine. Also, it might be a bit easier if you are working on a warm engine, so let the engine run and get hot, and then let it sit for 15 minutes before you work on it. This will help the grease loosen up and make your life a bit easier. Whatever you do, do not start cleaning your engine while it is still running. If your cars intake sucks in a bit of water, you WILL 100% kill your engine. \r

I know there are going to people that will comment and say that the engine bay isnt supposed to get wet, youre an idiot, youre going to kill your engine. Well think of this, what do you think happens to the engine bay when it rains? Do you think it stays dry? Because the bottom side of the engine where the oil pan is, isnt sealed, the engine bay will get wet all of the time. Engineers design engine bays, including all of the electrical components, to be water restistant, including all connections, so it is perfectly safe to do this to your car. \r
